B. Willie Smith Band
These guys have playing since the late 1970's
They still play occassional gigs a couple of times a year.
Don't miss them if they come around, you won't be sorry!
Just the best kick ass rhythm and blues/swing band you will ever have the pleasure of seeing.

2008 Review:
"B. Willie Smith is quite simply the best Blues-based band to come out of CT - ever. In their late 70's early 80's heyday, I saw them a bunch of times in many different places and was never disappointed. The reunion shows (believe it or not) are even better! These guys just flat kick ass on a song list whose variety is mind-boggling. Where else are you going to hear covers of Little Walter, Jimmy Lunceford, Elvis, Huey 'Piano' Smith, Sam The Sham, Jimmy Rogers and Roy Head in the same set? Played with style and drive to spare, too. Don't miss them the next time they have a reunion show."

You can also find them on on Youtube and Facebook!

My visit to Big Cat Rescue in Tampa Florida was fabulous!!!!!

Leopard Lady says head on down to Tampa Florida to visit the Big Cat Rescue. They are an "educational sanctuary", which means that their dual mission is both to take care of the cats and to educate the public so they can eliminate the abuse and abandonment of big cats that causes them to need a sanctuary in the first place. They are home to oodles of exotic cats. Nowhere else can so many species of exotic cat be found in one place. They provide a permanent retirement home for more than 100 lions, tigers, leopards, cougars, servals, caracals, sand cats, etc., representing 16 of the 35 species of exotic cat.

You can also visit their website and find out all about the many tours they offer so you can meet the cats live and in person You can LEARN about big cats. And most of all, find out how you can help their big cats. Leopard Lady visited this outrageous sanctuary and was blown away!

Tell them Leopard Lady sent you!

This band is top notch! Want a night of swing and rhythm and blues? This is your band. Their full horn section gives the band real pow! Their lead guitarist Chris Vachon is incredible! Clean licks and smooth as silk. (and a hell of a nice guy to boot) Watch for his song "Dynamite" from their CD "There Goes The Neighborhood" on the soundtrack of the new Patrick Swayze movie "Loving Lulu". They have an extremely busy schedule and are all over the US. So go check out their websight and see when they will be cruising through your neck of the woods. You won't be sorry!
